At the Luckyleo Workshop nestled in Denver's Santa Fe Arts District, Chelsea and Heather oversee production where each leotard is created with love and care. Here's how we bring to life your custom dancewear, Express styles, and Classics leotards at our Luckyleo Workshop with the help of our expert team.
Your custom order is printed out for our cutter to carefully piece out, roll up, and hand-write a tag to show your order number.
The custom leotard is then placed in a drawer for the serger, who unrolls it and joins each of the seams.
After the seams are attached together, a sewer attaches the elastic.
Each armhole, neckline, and leg hole gets coverstitched, which folds down the elastic on the edge and creates a finished look.
Depending on the style, the leotard then gets small gathers stitched by hand then machine sewn, snaps attached, or straps sewn on with another machine.
Each leotard is carefully inspected by our team to ensure that the highest of standards are met, each thread is clipped, and the fabrics and sewing is perfect.
When the leotard is finished being handmade by our expert sewists, we carefully wrap it in our signature brown paper, tie it with a bow, and send it out to its new owner, you!
